Dempsey Bakery is a 100% dedicated gluten-,soy-, peanut-, and tree nut-free bakery—where safety isn’t a feature, it’s the foundation.
Founded in 2011 by Paula Dempsey, the bakery began as a personal mission to create a place where families could enjoy baked goods without fear. That commitment to safety and quality quickly established Dempsey as a trusted name in allergen-free baking.
Today, Dempsey Bakery operates out of Little Rock, Arkansas, where the Fowler family carries the mission forward with a clear vision for growth. In 2024, Chris and Jamie Fowler acquired the business, bringing decades of experience as business owners in the food industry. They are focused on thoughtfully growing the brand while protecting the standards it was built on.
With plans to expand across the U.S. through franchising, the Fowler family is focused on bringing safe, high-quality baked goods to more communities—without compromising the care and standards that define Dempsey Bakery. The next generation is already leading the way, with their daughter Lexi serving as the first franchisee and bringing Dempsey’s purpose to Fayetteville, Arkansas in Spring 2026.
