Gluten Free Cinnamon Raisin Bread Pudding

  • 1 loaf Dempsey Bakery Cinnamon Raisin Bread
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp butter melted
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • cup milk
  • 1 cup sugar

Whiskey Cream Sauce

  • ½ cup sugar
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • ½ cup cream
  • ¼ cup whiskey


  • Preheat oven to 335 degrees F.
  • Cut loaf of bread into 1" cubes and place in 8x8 baking dish.
  • To make custard, beat egg, butter, vanilla, and milk together in a bowl.
  • While mixing slowly add sugar to egg mixture.
  • Pour custard over bread in baking dish.
  • Press bread down into custard to ensure bread soaks up custard.
  • Baker 30 to 40 minutes until custard is set up.

Whiskey Cream Sauce

  • Combine all sauce ingredients in a saucepan.
  • Cook over medium heat stirring contantly.
  • Bring mixture to a boil. Continue to boil until mixture begins to brown.
  • Pour cream sauce over baked bread pudding. Enjoy
