Gluten Free Cinnamon Raisin Bread Pudding

Ingredients
- 1 loaf Dempsey Bakery Cinnamon Raisin Bread
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp butter melted
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- 1¼ cup milk
- 1 cup sugar
Whiskey Cream Sauce
- ½ cup sugar
- 3 tbsp butter
- ½ cup cream
- ¼ cup whiskey
Directions
- Preheat oven to 335 degrees F.
- Cut loaf of bread into 1" cubes and place in 8x8 baking dish.
- To make custard, beat egg, butter, vanilla, and milk together in a bowl.
- While mixing slowly add sugar to egg mixture.
- Pour custard over bread in baking dish.
- Press bread down into custard to ensure bread soaks up custard.
- Baker 30 to 40 minutes until custard is set up.
Whiskey Cream Sauce
- Combine all sauce ingredients in a saucepan.
- Cook over medium heat stirring contantly.
- Bring mixture to a boil. Continue to boil until mixture begins to brown.
- Pour cream sauce over baked bread pudding. Enjoy
